With Executive Order 2020-70 effective at 12:01 am on May 7, 2020, workers in the construction industry, including workers in the building trades (plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and similar workers), subject to the enhanced social-distancing rules, can resume activities.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, as our interactions and service may seem different while we navigate through this time together. We ask you to please understand that due to the service restrictions we have experienced, we are working through a backlog of projects and service calls, along with an increased amount of opening requests.
Our online request form is available on our homepage. We assure you that we are focused on playing a constructive role in maintaining a healthy and enjoyable season for all during these uncertain times.
May 4, 2020 Clark Township Covid Statement
Kester Plumbing is unable to provide in-person services during the 14-day quarantine period. Any plumbing issues requiring in-person service will be addressed after the 14-day quarantine period. At that time, we will need to confirm that all occupants of the home have quarantined in the Mackinac County residence for 14 days and are not exhibiting signs of fever, cough, or illness before we are able to enter the home.
(Exception: If the issue relates to a well or pump located outdoors, we may be able to assist.)
Up to twenty-five percent of individuals infected with the Coronavirus may not show symptoms. The Coronavirus is known to live on surfaces for varying amounts of time. In providing our cottage opening services, it is necessary for Kester Plumbing to touch common surfaces in your home. We will use PPE as we are able to, although we have limited access to these products. We must ask each homeowner to please accept responsibility to clean common-touch surfaces (doorknobs, light switches, faucet handles, toilet handles, cabinet handles, appliances, etc.) using EPA-registered disinfectants that are appropriate for each surface, following label instructions, upon arrival to your home.
We will continue to update this page as orders are modified, renewed, or expired.
